Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Knysna - Seahorse

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

Update (20/04/2026 10:45):  

 Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 14/04/2026 20:10. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update (14/04/2026 @ 20:11):

Octotel is observing that services for certain customers connected via the Seahorse OLT on the Knysna aggregation node have restored and are testing stable.

 

Update (14/04/2026 @ 19:15):

Octotel engineers are monitoring for stability.
