Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 27/05/2026 @22:49. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

Octotel engineers are still in progress with the fibre resplicing to restore connectivity to those affected customers. Certain customer connections have been restored.

ETR for complete restoration: ±1 hour

Octotel's engineers are still on-site, assessing the damage across our fibre infrastructure. Once all the damage is pinpointed, we'll provide an estimated ETR for the full restoration process.
