Additional Evotel teams have been dispatched to assist with restoring service to the remaining affected clients. A second break, caused by municipal maintenance, has been identified, and a dedicated team is currently working on repairing that damaged cable. Testing of Customer Termination Points (CTP) is being conducted at various locations to confirm that links are active and traffic is passing successfully. Despite the ongoing power issues, we remain committed to restoring all affected services. The ongoing disruption may cause delays in restoration efforts.Next update: 5PM. More updates to follow.

Splicing work has been completed, and the team is currently investigating additional faults that may be contributing to the delay in restoration. We are also aware that the community is currently experiencing power issues, which may impact restoration efforts. Splicing and restoration work is currently ongoing. Due to the size and extent of the damaged cable, the repair process is taking longer than initially anticipated. Evotel technical teams continue to work diligently to restore all affected services as quickly and safely as possible.
