Evotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 Evotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 04/05/2026 08:10. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

Evotel team has returned on site. The final batch of affected clients are being seen to on a case-by-case basis. Please allow time for these repairs. If technicians require access to your property, you will be contacted directly.

Fibre repairs are continuing and clients continue to restore, however, a large portion remain impacted by the outage. Evotel technicians are continuing repairwork, and more details will be shared at the times indicated below.

Repairs began during the course of the evening. A large portion of clients have been reconnected, but the majority remain offline. Evotel technicians are still on site and we will provide progressive updates at the times indicated below.

 

Update: 02/05/2026 20:20

Heavy damage to the network has been identified as a result of municipal construction in the area. We apologise for this break in connection, but we currently do not anticipate reconnection tonight. Repairs are underway, and updates will be provided at the times indicated below.
