Openfire's upstream provider confirmed that street-level fibre cables were damaged due to a fallen tree. They have affected a permanent fix, however Openfire's is still seeing services as down.

Openfire's upstream provider has their engineers working to determine the problematic node and will dispatch technicians to the relevant site once confirmed. Unfortunately an ETR has not been provided.

Openfibre determined that the issue lies within their upstream provider's network and they are awaiting feedback from their upstream teams. Currently an ETR has not been provided but they are pushing to have the matter resolved swiftly.
Update ( 27/12/2025 @ 21:24 ):
Openfibre teams are still investigating the cause of the fault and will provide further updates once a root cause is found. No ETR is available at this time.
