Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 01/03/2026 @12:14. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

Octotel confirmed that their partner provider technicians are currently splicing to restore services.

 

Update (28/02/2026 @21:46):  

Octotel confirmed that their partner provider technicians continue to work on repairs. The next update will be shared by 11pm.

 

Update (28/02/2026 @20:45):  

Octotel confirmed that their partner provider technicians have identified a fibre break and currently preparing to float new cable and currently preparing to float new cable
