Kindly note that spares are being collected in order to repair the MDU. An ETA of 17:00 has been shared for the spares to reach the site.

Open Fibre confirmed the maintenance teams have advised that additional spares are required to restore the link. The MDU is currently being configured and will thereafter be dispatched to the Free State.
They are currently awaiting the vendor’s confirmed ETA and will continue to provide progressive updates as more information becomes available.

The Openfibre maintenance teams are currently on-site and suspect that the MDU may be faulty. At this stage, no estimated time of resolution has been confirmed. We will continue to provide progressive updates as more information becomes available

Please be advised that the issue has been re-escalated to the Openfibre vendor. It appears that VLANs are missing following the power restoration from earlier on.
