Process To Submit RICA

Legal requirements for Internet Service Providers in South Africa requires us to verify your identity and physical address. We provide an online facility for submitting this documentation.
The requirements are:

• Scanned copy of your Green Barcoded ID book or ID card, or equivalent if you are a foreign national.
• A document for proof of residence containing your physical address. Postal addresses cannot be accepted, unfortunately.

Please make sure you have a saved copy of your ID and proof of address on your phone or PC. You can submit RICA by following the steps below:
1. Log into your CooZone Account & Click on the “RICA Documents Go Tab” on the home page.




2. To upload a copy of ID click on “Choose File”, select the saved copy of ID from your PC/Phone and upload file.



3. To upload Proof of address, on “Choose File”, the saved proof of address from your PC/Phone and upload file



Please note that valid proof of address documents are:

• A bank statement, or a municipal bill.
• A cellphone, or retail account.
• A rental, credit or lease agreement.
• An insurance policy cover document.
• A television, or motor vehicle license

• Informal Settlements: A letter/affidavit from a school, church, or store where you receive post. It must be on an official letterhead.
• The document must contain your physical address and not be older than three months.

Once completed, a ticket will be opened with our RICA Team for them to Validate your documents.
