The network disruption is linked to ongoing municipal construction work in the area. Construction activities are still underway and have resulted in further damage to the affected fibre cable, preventing our team from completing the necessary repairs.
Our team is currently assessing an alternative fibre route to minimise the risk of further damage and enable restoration work to proceed. Adverse weather and wet ground conditions have also contributed to delays.
Once conditions safely allow and the team is able to proceed, the necessary work on the alternative route will begin.

Evotel technical team is still on site and they have identified the cause of the network disruption as a cable break. Restoration efforts are well underway, with the team currently installing additional fibre cable between the affected poles and repairing the fibre connections.
