Evotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Evotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

 

Update 18/10/2025 @ 14:07   

Evotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 18/10/2025 @ 14:07. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update 18/10/2025 @ 11:03  

Further investigations have found a damaged cable from Welkom towards Riebeeckstad. The cable has since been restored, and further testing is being conducted to ensure full service stability and performance.

Next update: 2pm

Investigations indicate that multiple switch ports went down simultaneously. Investigations are continuing to determine the cause of the switches going down.
