Metro fibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s:Thembisa 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Metro fibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (30/09/2025 @ 07:28):

Metro fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 30/09/2025 @ 07:28. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (29/09/2025 @11:59):  

Metro Fibre want to assure you that they are continuously working hard to restore services, and they will keep you updated on our progress. 

They estimate that it will take approximately 12 hours to repair the services due to the extent of damage caused by construction works.
