Metrofibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Thembisa
Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

Metrofibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (07/02/2025 @ 07:01):

Metrofibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 06/02/2025 @ 21:45. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (06/02/2025 @ 10:40):

Technicians are progressing on the Thembisa fault. ETR remains 12pm. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

 

Update (05/02/2025 @ 18:25):

Due to the severity of the damage caused by municipality works in Thembisa, the current ETR is 06/02 at 9am

 

 

Update (05/02/2025 @ 18:16):

 We estimate that it will take approximately 12 Hours to repair.  Of course, this could change depending on the extent of the damage, but we're doing everything we can to restore services

We have started with the fibre repairs in Thembisa caused by Municipality works, We will Continue to provide progressive updates. Metro fibre. More updates to follow
