Update (15/09/2026 @ 09:25):
The field team has successfully secured cable slack from one side of the affected route.
Onsite technicians have confirmed that the ducts and fibre cable were damaged within a bush covered area.
The team is currently working to secure sufficient cable slack from the opposite direction to enable the required repair activities to proceed.
The incident remains escalated with the service provider's management teams, and we are actively following up for a tentative ETR.
At this stage, no restoration ETR has been provided by the service provider.

According to the latest update from the service provider, a suspected point of failure has been identified.
The affected cable is located adjacent to a river and the field team is currently assessing the site and arranging safe access to proceed with the necessary repair activities. The provider is currently evaluating the most appropriate restoration approach and coordinating the required remediation works.
We remain in close communication with the service provider and the issue has been escalated to obtain a tentative ETR.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide further updates as soon as additional information becomes available.
