Zoomfibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area: Newlands East 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Zoomfibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (22/09/2026 15:28): 

The outage has been resolved. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Streets Affected: Riverhorse Road; Seabass Road; Musa Dladla Drive; Croaker Place; John Dory Drive; Tandipa Road; Hopper Place; Dageraad Terrace; Tarpon Place; Tuna Place; Kabeljou Road; Marlin Grove

Fault will be deferred due to the following reasons:
 
1. Safety concerns, more especially in Newlands East, at this part of the evening.
2. Extensive civil work required, 
3. Additional labour is required, which is unavailable at this time. An additional team will be placed in Newlands tomorrow.
4. We have reached out to the councillor to assist with locals; however, they are not keen on working at this hour. He also stated that a TLB will be around tomorrow, he will try to get them to assist in clearing the backfill.
