Openfibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area: Mompati Mall

Impact: Customers may experience no/slow/intermittent connectivity. 

 

Openfibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Open Fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 30/04/2026 @11:42. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

Please be informed that the maintenance team is still actively working on the repairs. However, due to the extent of the third-party damage, an estimated time to resolution is not yet available.

 

Update (30/04/2026 @ 07:39):  

Openfibre technicians will be returning to the site at 08:30 to continue restoration works. Further updates to follow.

 

Update (29/04/2026 @ 21:37):  

Please be advised that the upstream provider has noted an unplanned outage at this site and is currently investigating. ETA provided is 22:00-22:30 to site. Further updates to follow
