The taxi strike has cleared and DFA can now access the site however it is raining excessively and the civil team cannot commence with repairs.

Good morning please note there is currently a taxi strike happening in Mdantsane. Roads have been blocked off. Fault will be put on hold until the strike is over.

A new FNO in the area is currently laying ducts using machinery. Their machine accidentally broke DFA’s 7-way duct. DFA can only dispatch a Civil team tomorrow morning.
