Open fibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s:Hemingways Mall

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Open fibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (16/02/2026 @ 21:34):  

Open fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 16/02/2026 @ 21:34. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update (16/02/2026 @15:53):

The maintenance team is presently on-site and is excavating to obtain the necessary cable slack in order to proceed with repairs. Restoration efforts are underway; however, an estimated time to restore has not yet been provided.

Kindly note that Open Fibre remain in close communication with the upstream provider and are actively following up to expedite resolution. 

 

Update (16/02/2026 @ 14:30):

Open fibre team has successfully located the physical point of break and is assessing the damage. Further feedback to be shared.
