Our technical team is still on-site working on restoring service to the affected clients. The fault has been identified, and the team is currently busy with trenching to access and repair the damaged section of the infrastructure.

Our technical team has made significant progress in restoring service to the community. Majority of clients have been restored, and the team is still on site, splicing the affected cable in an effort to restore service to the remaining clients.

The Evotel technical team has identified vandalism to critical infrastructure as the cause of the current service disruption. The team is still on site and restoration efforts have commenced. To fully restore services, the team will need to install a new dome and splice all 144 fibre connections. This is a complex and labour-intensive process that requires careful handling to ensure the integrity and stability of the network.
