Update
Friday, 17 January 2020 at 11:00:

WACS and SAT3 are still down due to multiple breaks just north of Angola.
Cool Ideas alternative international path has increased latency for JHB by around 17ms.
Cape Town is currently routing via JHB for some traffic, so latency for this region will increase ~50ms.

We are continuing to work on options to better latency where we can.

Cable break ETR: Unknown.

Due to a failure on our primary international path, we have switched to a redundant path.

As a result, Cool Ideas customers might see increased latency and decreased speeds to international sites and services.

Technicians are currently attending to the issue.
