Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 29/05/2026 @ 11:32. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

Octotel engineers have commenced with the fibre repairs to restore connectivity to those remaining affected customers.

 

Update (28/05/2026 @ 22:18):

Octotel engineers have restored connectivity to most of the affected customers. Teams have deferred the restoration of the remaining customers to tomorrow morning due to safety concerns onsite.

Octotel engineers are still in progress with the fibre resplicing to restore connectivity to those affected customers. Certain customer connections have been restored.

ETR for complete restoration: +-3 hours

Due to complications onsite, etr has been extended. ETR for complete restoration: ±4 hour
