Updates from Vumatel regarding the repairs in KZN
Vuma and vendor technicians are continuing with repairs in areas that are declared as safe zones. Unfortunately, repairs have been placed on hold in “no-go zones” and/or areas where civil stabilisation needs to happen before our infrastructure can be rebuilt. We are also surveying all safe zones within our footprint proactively to discover any more damage that needs to be repaired.
Technicians are doing their best to restore services as soon as possible; however, we are still experiencing extended resolutions times.
