Linklayer is currently experiencing the following issue:

Linklayer technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Linklayer confirmed that this outage was resolved on 31/05/2026 @ 10:55. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update (29/05/2026 @ 19:47):  

Splicing to restore connection is ongoing. We apologise for this extended downtime. Technicians will remain on site and will continue restoration efforts through the night. Thank you for your patience.

Next update: 8AM. More updates to follow. 

 

Update (29/05/2026 @ 13:44):  

Linklayer technical team has identified the cause of the network disruption as a damaged cable. The team is currently on-site assessing the extent of the damage and preparing to begin restoration work to restore services as quickly as possible.
