Openfibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

OpenFibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

 

Update (13/12/2025 @ 06:01):

Kindly be advised that our Team has confirmed a cable break at -26.327550, 28.367873 (Brakpan) where the upstream providers infrastructure was burned inside the handle. Team is busy planning on how the damage can be resolved. Please note as per vendor Floating team is busy exposing on the side of the Handhole so they can repair ducts to float replacement cables. Total ETR 12 HOURS.

Kindly note upstream providers technicians have tested a disconnection and are currently localizing,
