Splicing commenced at the first joint and the cable is still being hauled towards the second. Approximately 60% complete thus far. Hauling is expected to be complete by 22:00 and splicing at the second joint is expected to commence by 23:00.

Vumatel Cable Field technician has found the break; the cable was cut by unknown party. Cable Field technician has logged a TBI to get contractors to assist with the hauling of the cable.
