The Service Provider is on site, preparing to continue from where they started and CFF staff is en-route with and ETA of 07:00. Next update 08:00.

The locals have refused access for the work to continue, issue has been escalated to management.

The Service Provider is still hauling in the cable. 95% hauled in thus far. There is a delay as the cable is routed through an informal settlement, and they access is being restricted.

The Service Provider is still erecting the cable. Hauling is 70 complete thus far. Service Provider Management confirmed that the splicing team is being arranged to arrive at the site once hauling is complete. Progress update to follow at 17:45
