OpenFibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: The Crossings Shopping Centre 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

OpenFibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

 

Update (12/06/2026 @ 21:40):  

OpenFibre  confirmed that this outage was resolved on 12/06/2026 @ 21:40. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

Please note Opwn Fibre technicians will be onsite around 8pm to install a new Huawei switch. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused 

 

Update (11/06/2026 @17:45):

Following an extensive troubleshooting process and the implementation of various remediation measures, the issue remains unresolved. 

As a result, a decision has been made to replace the existing Leaf device with an upgraded unit.

Please note that the replacement device is currently in transit to site. The Open Fibre technician has not yet arrived on site, and the latest ETA provided is approximately 8 hours from now, with arrival expected at around 07:00 on 12 June 2026.

Upon arrival, the technician will begin preparing and replacing the faulty equipment with the upgraded device. Further updates will be communicated as soon as they become available.

 

Update (11/06/2026 @ 09:52):

Following an extensive troubleshooting process and the implementation of various remediation measures, the issue remains unresolved. As a result, a decision has been made to replace the existing Leaf device with an upgraded unit. The replacement device is currently been shipped to the site , OpenFibre technicians are awaiting an ETA of the new equipments arrival to site. More updates to follow.

Open Fibre have confirmed that following an extensive troubleshooting process and the implementation of various remediation measures, the issue remains unresolved.

As a result, a decision has been made to replace the existing Leaf device with an upgraded unit. 

The replacement process has already been initiated, and further updates regarding the progress and completion of the swap will be communicated as they become available.

 

Update (10/06/2026 @ 07:25):

OpenFibre technicians are actively following up with their core engineering team and investigations are ongoing. No ETR confirmed as yet, progressive updates will be shared when received.
