Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Strand area

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 22/01/2025 @ 02:10. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (21/01/2024 @ 23:28):

Octotel engineers are still in progress with the fibre resplicing to restore connectivity to those affected customers.

 

Update (21/01/2024 @ 22:19):

Octotel engineers have commenced with the fibre repairs to restore connectivity to affected customers. ETR for complete restoration ± 3.5 hours .

 

Update (21/01/2024 @ 20:02):

Octotel technicians have identified a fibre break and are currently localising the point of failure.

 

Update (21/01/2024 @ 20:56):  Octotel's engineers are currently on-site, assessing the damage across our fibre infrastructure. Once all the damage is pinpointed, We'll provide an estimated ETR for the full restoration process.
