Please note cable break ref 11219676 in Shoshanguve was caused by vandalism, with the control joint removed. This will result in a delayed ETR teams are required to identify and trace the backends per link.

Vumatel technicians confirmed time for testing as per vendor is 07:00am this morning.

Please take note team onsite are having a challenge on this break as it is control joint been stolen and it had alot of jumps,regarding the 2 aforementioned Routes. Teams asking for deferral as they going to need backends from clients/ customers.

DFA technicians have confimred that the outage has been impacted by the major cable break, ETR to be confirmed.
