Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 Octotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 13/04/2026  @ 16:54. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues. 

 

 

Update (13/04/2026 @ 14:26):  

Octotel engineers have commenced with the fibre resplicing to restore connectivity to those affected customers.
