Metrofibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Riverside View Phase 1, Riversands

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Metrofibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (06/02/2026 @ 12:08):

Metrofibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 06/02/2026 @ 12:05. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (05/02/2026 @ 21:05):

Metro fibre would like to inform you that due to the ongoing intricacy on site, fibre repairs have been deferred till 06th February 2026,at  8:00.. More updates to follow.
