Update (28/07/2026 @19:13):
During metro Fibre's assessment, they have identified a bee infestation within the affected handhole. For the safety of our field teams, repair activities could not commence until the bees had been safely removed.
A qualified beekeeper was dispatched to the site to remove the bees. Their field teams are currently on site, and repairs are underway. The team is installing a new handhole to facilitate the temporary restoration of services.
