OpenFibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Phola Mall 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

OpenFibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

 

Open fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 27/11/2025 @ 10:35. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

Please be informed that the service is currently down due to a fibre break affecting three fibre links. The Openfibre maintenance team is investigating the fault, and further updates will be provided as they become available.

Kindly note that Openfibre technicians have investigated the possibility of a re-route. However, no re-route is currently possible.
