This has been resolved. The root cause was an expired security certificate that had to be renewed.

Please note that we are aware of an issue affecting customers who pay using our Payfast payment gateway. The PayFast team has confirmed that they are experiencing an outage on their aggregation system and that their technicians are in a boiler session, troubleshooting.
