Vumatel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Motherwell Zone 1  

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Vumatel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 Please note that Tech Bradley indicated that on the second joint splicing 1st tube.

 Technician Bradley indicated that busy splicing second tube.

Vumatel technicians indicated that the cable was cut, They cut out 20m piece so team going to need to do two 48F joints to get the links up,

Please note that Technician Bradley indicated that testing 3.0811km on all leggs for vuma and fibretime

Both Ports of the primary and secondary links are testing 16.52 KMs

Technicians have been dispatched to localise fault

We have aligned the fiber technician to test the fiber link from POP to customer. Further we are coordinating with field team for an ETA. Will share you the updates shortly.
