As you are aware, the issue is beyond the control of MTN but teams are on site to respond and address urgently. This may require a temp repair due to the extent of damage. The Civil Team has a hard dependency on JHB water and are trenching as allowed.. More updates to follow.

MTN is currently still waiting for JHB Water to attend to the Water drainage. More updates to follow once received

Due to a water leak in the manhole, MTN have the following issue: Two 96 core cables damaged and one 48core cable also damaged.
The current mitigation is for JHB water to resolve the leak and drain the manhole. They will share an ETR as they have feedback from them.
