Evotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Krugersdorp (Mindalore/Breaunanda)

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Evotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Evotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 12/03/2026 16:54. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

 

Update (12/03/2026 @ 13:58):

Service to the area has been restored. Our team will continue to monitor network stability and ensure that all systems remain fully operational.

Update (12/03/2026 @ 08:39):

Evotel  team has made significant progress in restoring service to the community. Connectivity has been restored to the majority of clients, and the remaining affected clients will be attended to individually. Restoration efforts are currently being impacted by adverse weather conditions.

Update (12/03/2026 @ 08:39):

Evotel team has made significant progress in restoring service to the community. Splicing is complete, and majority of clients have been restored. The remaining few clients will be attended to individually to determine the cause of their network disconnection and restore them. We hope to have all clients restored by the end of the day.

Next update: 11AM

 

Update (11/03/2026 @19:41):

The fault has been identified, and repair prep is underway. New fibre is currently being installed and once this is complete, splicing  to reconnect clients will begin.

Delays will be communicated at the times indicated below.

Investigations are still underway. They apologise for this disruption, and they will keep the community updated as the damage is isolated 

 

Update (11/03/2026 @14:48):

Evotel are aware of the network disruption affecting the community. Their technical team is currently en-route to investigate the cause. 

Once the issue has been identified, the necessary steps to restore service will commence.
