Evotel technical team remains onsite carrying out final network testing to restore services to the remaining affected customers. Significant progress has been made, and the majority of customers have already been reconnected.
The team is focused on restoring service to the remaining affected customers and will continue working until the restoration process has been completed.

Clients have begun to be restored, and work is ongoing. Evotel technicians aim to have clients fully restored tonight, but any delays will be communicated at the times indicated below.

Evotel technical team remains onsite, and restoration efforts are progressing. The team is currently installing and stringing the replacement fibre cable in preparation for the splicing process.
Once the cable installation has been completed, technicians will begin fibre splicing to restore connectivity to the affected customers.

Evotel technical team has located the cause of the network disruption and confirmed that the fibre cable was damaged due to vandalism.
Additional resources have been deployed to the site to support the restoration efforts and expedite the repair process. Technicians are working to replace the damaged section of the cable and restore connectivity to the affected customers as quickly and safely as possible.
