Technicians are still working to haul in the new fibre cable. This is taking time due to ducts that are blocked along the route. They will continue with the new fibre cable in the morning.

Vumatel is currently experiencing the following outage:

Impact: Residents have no connectivity. Technicians have completed the temporary repair and services have restored.

Vumatel will be hauling in a new fibre cable today and when it's ready they will cut the damaged cable and splice onto the new cable.
Vumatel services will therefore drop again during the course of today.
