Vumatel has confirmed splicing done on 144f link cable and 24f link. Team is splicing restracto-net from Wall boxes to manhole 17 homes left.

Vumatel has Repairs deferred to tomorrow, Side A complete. Team will continue in the morning from side B

Vumatel technicians has confirmed Splicing on Retractonet Side A is complete, including the 24F core. Preparation on Side B is currently in progress.

Vumatel technicians are preparing Side B for retractonet. Side A is almost complete, with 2 trays remaining on the 144F link cable.

Vumatel technicians advise that when confirming light from AG some tubes are Dameged 3 mitres away from the fist point. We have to pull slack again & replant the manhole. Site B Splicing started on tube 1 done . Site A will be on hold for now until Civil floated 48f link cable

Vumatel Team has cut off the pulled, intertwined cables and removed the splice protectors & fibres by trays. Civil team delayed by stock take but will be leaving office to site shortly
