Open Fibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: Emoyeni Mall 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Open Fibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

Openfibere confirmed that this outage was resolved on 13/11/2025 @ 15:08. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team at 010 593 2665 or support@coolideas.co.za should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (13/11/2025 @14:00):

Please be informed that we are still awaiting an ETA from the upstream provider. This matter has been escalated, and we will revert once an ETA has been provided. More updates to follow.

 

Update (13/11/2025 @ 11:17):

The site is currently down due to an issue at the upstream provider’s high site. Their maintenance team has been advised to attend to the issue, and we will share an estimated time of resolution (ETA) once it becomes available.. More updates to follow.
