Open Fibre is currently experiencing the following issue:  

 

Start Date & Time:14/12/2025 @02:52 

Affected Area/s: Emoyeni 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Open Fibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment. 

 

Update (14/12/2025 @10:52):  

Open Fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 14/12/2025 @10:52. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update (14/12/2025 @09:47):  

Open Fibre upstream vendor is currently testing at their node to confirm the cause of the fault. An ETR has not been provided but we will continue to push for a resolution.
