Octotel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: East CBD, Woodstock 

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Octotel technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (10/12/2025 09:22):

Cctotel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 06/12/2025 13:35. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

 

Update (06/12/2025 @ 23:36):  

Octotel engineers have completed the fibre repairs works. Please have those customers still offline reboot their ONT and routers and retest the connection.

 

Update (06/12/2025 @ 20:30):  

Octotel engineers are still in progress with the fibre resplicing to restore connectivity to those affected customers.

 

Update (06/12/2025 @ 18:08):  

Octotel technicians have found further damage to our infrastructure while conducting repairs to the damage caused by civil works.

Octotel technicians continue to work diligently in efforts to restore services damaged by civil works.

 

Update (06/12/2025 @ 14:59):  

Octotel's technicians are currently onsite testing to investigate the remaining impacted ~200 customers.

No ETR for these services is available as yet.

Octotel technicians have completed splicing and we are observing ~200 customer services are still impacted.

Octotel technicians are investigating further.

Octotel technicians continue to work diligently in efforts to restore services damaged by civil works. Repairs remain on track for the provided ETR.

We are observing a majority of affected customers have restored whilst certain customers in Woodstock, Salt River, and CBD remain affected.

Technicians continue to work diligently in efforts to restore infrastructure damaged by civil works.

Update (06/12/2025 @ 09:24):

We are observing a majority of affected customers have restored whilst certain customers in Woodstock, Salt River, and CBD remain affected.

Technicians have been working diligently throughout the night in efforts to repairthe extensive damage caused to infrastructure by civil work taking place and continue to work to restore services fully.

Kindly note services remain at risk while technicians work on permanent repairs.
