Network Incident Report - 18 March 2021
At approximately 16:48pm yesterday afternoon our East CBD Node environments servicing customers in the East Cbd area experienced a critical power failure. This power failure resulted in no connectivity for customers in the area for approximately 40 minutes.
The building where our Node is situated experienced a fault on its back up generator. Due to this, the generator did not start which resulted in our inverter running out of power. We currently have a backup generator on site to mitigate any further downtime until we are satisfied the issue has been resolved.
Power was fully restored at 17:28pm. Both main and backup power systems are now back to fully operational.
Our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you and your customers.
