Technicians continued with splicing the fibres today, unfortunately, the core fibre cable was damaged again this afternoon by the third party contractor that is conducting civil work in the area.

Technicians are unable to continue with repairs at this point as the contractor is still trenching on the fibre path and causing additional damage to our fibre cables.
Technicians will continue with repairs tomorrow morning when the contractor is off duty.
