Metrofibre is currently experiencing the following issue:

Affected Area/s: 

  • Nieuveld Park, Nieuveld, Beaufort West
  • Essopville - FSH,  Essopville, Beaufort West
  • Rustdene SP - FSH, Rustdene, Beaufort West

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity.

 

Metrofibre technicians are currently investigating. There is no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (05/01/2026 @ 20:25):  

Metro Fibre confirmed that this outage was resolved on 05/01/2026 @ 20:25. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues. 

 

Update (05/01/2026 @12:16):  

Metro Fibre want to assure you that they are continuously working hard to restore services, and we will keep you updated on their progress. 

They estimate that it will take approximately 20 hours to repair the services due to the extent of damage caused
