Vumatel is currently experiencing the following issue:

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity. 

 

Update from Vumatel (30/09/2025 @ 12:12):

Team busy pulling ESFU to the wall box on clients that are still down. There is no ETR at the moment.

Vumatel confirmed that this outage was resolved on 30/09/2025 18:16. Please restart your devices and contact our Support Team should you still experience connection issues.

An update has been requested from technicians 

 

Update (30/09/2025 @ 10:15):

Vumatel technicians are attending to the services that remain down. 

 

Update (29/09/2025 @ 21:13):

Vumatel technicians are moving to prepare side B. 

 

Update (29/09/2025 @ 20:08):

Splicing still in progress, 12 Fibres left on side A. 

 

Update (29/09/2025 @ 17:54):

Splicing has started. 

 

Update (29/09/2025 @ 14:50):

One side is diverted from the road, and techs are now doing the other side. 

 

Update from Vumatel(29/09/2025 @ 13:20):

Civil team has arrived on site, moving the duct from the road to create the space for a manhole to avoid being in the bus stop which they are building. There is still no ETR at the moment.

 

Update (29/09/2025 @ 12:45):

Vumatel technicians are trenching to pull the other side of the retractor while awaiting for stock to arrive onsite. There is still no ETR at the moment.
