Vumatel has scheduled the following planned maintenance:

Estimated Start Date: 23/09/2024
Estimated End Date: 06/10/2024
Duration: 2 Weeks
Affected Area/s: Suncrest Complex

Impact: Customers may experience no connectivity after their devices have been swapped while awaiting re-provisioning by Vumatel's technical team.

Message from Vumatel:

To improve stability on our network and ensure an improved customer experience, we will be cutting over the Suncrest complex from Vuma Village GPON to the Active Ethernet network.
This planned change will resume within the next 2 weeks and the rollout will be gradually completed according to the impacted customer’s availability as access will be required into the premises.

To complete this change with minimal disruption for customers, the following will need to be actioned:

• ONT fibre equipment swap out - the installation teams will schedule a suitable date and time with the end customers to complete the fibre equipment swap. The Calix ONTs will be replaced with the Active Ethernet CPEs.
