We'd again like to apologise for the service interruption yesterday. As of yesterday evening services have been restored and we have seen traffic levels return to normal.
Cool Ideas was once again the victim of DDOS attacks which impacted customers throughout the whole network. We take these incidents extremely seriously and each time we have put in further defences to alleviate the impact on our customer's internet services.
If you are still having issues with your connection, please be sure to reboot your fibre box and router, by cycling the power on it. If you continue to have connectivity issues, please be sure to log it with our Cool Techs for further assistance on either support@coolideas.co.za or 010-593-2665.

We are aware of an issue affecting certain Cool Ideas customers ability to access certain websites and services. Cool Ideas technicians have put mitigation measures in place and are monitoring the situation. As a result, you may be affected intermittently as your connection is subject to scrubbing which temporarily affects browsing speed and access to certain websites and applications such as VPN.
