These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all Cool Ideas 5G Fixed Wireless Access (“5G FWA”) products. By subscribing to and using these services, you agree to the following:
1.1 The following promotional pricing applies until 28 February 2026. Thereafter, pricing will revert to standard retail rates as determined by Cool Ideas.

2.1 Cool Ideas 5G connectivity is powered by Vodacom’s world-class 5G network.
2.2 Indicated package speeds reflect the maximum download rates expected on the particular service.
2.3 Actual speeds may vary based on:
5G router capability.
Network load and tower capacity.
Distance from the nearest tower and environmental factors.
3.1 Each package includes an Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) threshold, as detailed in section 1.
3.2 Once the monthly AUP limit is reached, service speeds will be throttled to 1Mbps for the remainder of the billing cycle.
3.3 Packages are uncapped subject to this AUP and remain unshaped.
4.1 Fixed 5G services are locked to the registered physical address provided at signup.
4.2 Internet access will be disabled if the service is moved to another location without updating the registered address.
4.3 Customers must notify Cool Ideas in advance to request a location change, subject to coverage and approval.
5.1 Service may only be used with Vodacom-approved 5G routers.
5.2 Cool Ideas cannot guarantee performance on non-approved or third-party devices.
6.1 Service availability is dependent on power at both the customer’s premises and the Vodacom tower.
6.2 Connectivity may be disrupted during load shedding or power outages in your area.
7.1 Promotional pricing is subject to change upon expiry of the promotional period.
7.2 Cool Ideas reserves the right to amend these T&Cs, Fair Usage Policies, and pricing with reasonable notice.
7.3 Use of the service is subject to Cool Ideas’ General Terms of Service available at www.coolideas.co.za.
Cool Ideas Social Media Competition – Terms & Conditions
Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Cool Ideas Service Provider, a registered Internet Service Provider in South Africa.
Eligibility
The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
Entrants must reside in an area where fibre infrastructure is already installed and operational.
Employees of Cool Ideas, their immediate families, and any third parties directly involved in the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
Complete the entry form via the official link provided.
Follow Cool Ideas on the relevant social media platform (Facebook or Instagram).
On Facebook: Comment on the official competition post by tagging @highlight (ensure the tag is clickable and appears in blue).
On Instagram: Share the official competition post to your Instagram Story and tag @CoolIdeasZA.
Only one entry per person will be accepted. Incomplete or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
Competition Period
Start Date: 14 April 2025
End Date: 30 June 2025
Winner Announcement: 5 July 2025 (via Cool Ideas' official social media platforms)
Prize
One (1) winner will receive 12 months of free standard home fibre internet from Cool Ideas.
The prize includes standard home fibre connectivity and excludes any additional costs such as hardware or installation beyond what is typically included in a new Cool Ideas connection.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
The prize will only be awarded if the winner’s address is within a Cool Ideas-supported fibre network area.
Winner Selection
The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries.
Cool Ideas will contact the winner via social media direct message and/or email within 5 working days of the competition closing.
If the winner fails to respond within 7 days, Cool Ideas reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
General
Cool Ideas reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
Cool Ideas reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, misconduct, or a breach of these terms and conditions.
By entering, participants agree that Cool Ideas may use their name and/or social media handle for promotional purposes, including public winner announcements on social media.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
Cool Ideas reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the competition at any time without notice due to circumstances beyond its control.
Data Privacy
By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information by Cool Ideas for the purposes of managing this competition and for future marketing communication, including being added to the Cool Ideas email marketing list, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the company’s Privacy Policy (if applicable).
